Our Surprise Weekend Getaway

Last Wednesday Mike came to visit me at work. He asked what I wanted to do that weekend and I said I didn't care. Then he told me that we were going to Park City for the long weekend.

I. Was. Shocked. 

Mike isn't really one to plan things like that, especially so randomly.

We headed up to Park City on Saturday after a quick shift at work. It was a beautiful drive!

I promise he had a great time! 

After a quick trip to the Tanger Outlet Mall scoping out our shopping trips, we went to a cute Italian restaurant on Main Street. It was delicious! Then it was the hot tub and some sleep.

Sunday was another perfect day! We went to breakfast at The Eating Establishment on Main St. It was probably the best breakfast I've ever had! You have to check it out!

Walking around Main is so fun! You can tell it's a ski town! The lifts come right into town but during the summer it's just sleepy enough for a relaxing weekend!

The shops are so fun. There is more to look at than you would ever have time for! 

We found the sweetest chocolate Labrador on our walk. Look at this guy!

He was so old and tired but he loved the attention we were willing to give him.

Shopping was well worth it. So many sales!

I snagged this $100 purse for $27. Yes, it's leather!

We finally spent our last wedding gift card. Pier One gave us new glasses and this awesome tray for our new place!

On to our favorite restaurant of the trip....

Bandit Bar & Grill was so good. All you can eat for Mike was perfect. Tons of meat!

It was a prefect weekend and we were so sad to leave but back to reality we went. Go check out Park City. It's a perfect place for fun day trips or weekend excursions!
