Healthy Challenge - Day #27 -- Packing for Snacking

So to bring you more of what you love... I have another great snacking challenge.

*PACKING FOR SNACKING*




We all get a little hungry when we're at the office, shopping, or out with the kids. It's so easy to grab that candy at the register or grab some of those delicious fries at the nearest fast food location. But then we just ruined our healthy eating and when that is happening multiple times per week we can get pretty frustrated not to mention unhealthy.

So what are we going to do about that? 

Pack a Snack!

Before you leave your home grab something healthy to put in your purse or bag! This way you never have to be caught in a hunger bind! 

Here is a list of packable snacks:
  • Sliced veggies
  • Rice Cakes
  • Low Fat Cheese cubes
  • Trail Mix
  • Baggie of Nuts
  • Healthy Cereal (dry)
  • Raisins
  • Apples
  • Bananas (or any portable fruit)
  • Healthy Crackers 
  • Energy Balls - check out this recipe from Whole Foods Market.

  1. I always have a granola bar or two in my purse. Depending on what I'm craving at the moment, I may have a cheese stick, almonds or dried fruit.
