Healthy Challenge - Day #9 -- Walking with Family

 Go for a walk!

On Sundays especially I like to get up and go for a walk. Usually it's after a good Sunday dinner which I typically overeat on so it's nice to get out and move a little. I usually won't do my morning workout because it's a good day for me to sleep in with the hubby (too long) so I'm always rushing to get out the door to church.

Walks are such a great time for us. We used to do it a lot when we were dating and it became a romantic time. Getting out in the fresh air with my love helps me appreciate more things I have. We were so blessed to live near a duck pond and nature walk for a long time. It was so much fun to look at nature and enjoy it's simple beauty.

Now we're further away from that beauty so we walk around our neighborhood and I love pointing out my favorite parts of homes and what I want to have in our future home.

Have fun, take time to let your kids play a little. Don't be rushed! Enjoy this time.


  1. I love taking Walks! We go on them almost daily. :)

    1. If I wasn't at work I'd probably be on a walk right now! :) The weather right now is perfect too!

  2. There is a park just down 500 North towards Independence where you can usually see a lot of ducks! And you can walk along the Provo river Trail to get there or to head back home! Beautiful walk!
