My Mom--Happy Mother's Day

My mom is my hero. She's gone through so much and been so strong through all of it. When in high school my family went through quite a little trial. Our home burned down and we never expected anything like this. My mom was so strong and vigilant. She never wavered or fell with the weight of a lost sense of security.

When I was getting married my mom made planning our wedding a joy. She assured me through every hitch or jlitch that it would we a great day. It was the most magical day I could have ever hoped for.

One thing about my mom that always amazes me is her love for all of us kids. We may be all out of the house but she has never loved us more. There would never be a moment when we couldn't call our mother and find someone ready to love and listen to every problem or joy in our life.

My mom taught me how to love through her never ending love for my dad. Every marriage has it's trials but it's the way you handle those trials that will make a marriage strong. She is a great example of putting everything into her marriage.

I countdown the weeks, days and hours until I get to be with my mom again and I'm happy to say it's only 3 hours until I get to see her again. :)
