Pre-Finals Relief

Finals week is the worst week ever! I can't wait to be done and I know I should be studying a bit harder (I say that as I'm sitting hear blogging and watching Revenge on Netflix).

Last weekend we decided to get away for the weekend so we headed up to Mike's aunt's house in Draper. It's a perfect place right across the street from the Draper Temple and we love the opportunity to relax and take a load off before finals.

Friday night we went to dinner at the best Mexican restaurant I've ever been to! It's in Sandy, UT and seriously blew us away! Our friends turned us onto it and now we can't wait to go back!

Check it out if you're ever in the area!

Saturday we slept in til 10!!! which is so nice when you're used to 9am classes. We got ready and headed to Chipotle for some amazing food! (Do my posts always revolve around food??)

Back up to Aunt P's for a trip across the street to the temple. It was amazing and beautiful and relaxing and every other good thing imaginable. Seriously, the temple worker doing the sealings was amazing!

Love that handsome man!

That night we headed up to SLC for a double date with some friends. We tried to go to the Hogle Zoo Lights which sounded amazing but the power was out! :( So instead we went to Gateway and saw Skyfall, which I loved!

I'm glad their freeway billboard had power!

The snow storm on the way home had me with white knuckles but we made it back to Draper safely and our new car was awesome in the snow!

Knights Tale, The Santa Clause, and this beautiful tree kept us content for the rest of the weekend!

I'm so glad we got to take a weekend before finals started and just relax. We definitely needed it with how this finals week had gone... but more on that later!
