Texas 2013

After our Kanab Adventure we hopped a plane in Vegas and headed to Texas!

Mike's family lives in Keller, TX in a super cute area that takes you away from the Dallas/Fort Worth craziness but you still have all of the amenities when needed!

Mike's mom Barbara is a pro decorator and had this waiting on the door to our room! Isn't it dang cute?

Adventure kicked off for the Yeck clan on the 4th.
A breakfast complete with a speech from Bill Yeck started us off just right!

A lazy day was just what we needed until fireworks in Fort Worth

Laura and Millie

My grandmother passed away years ago on the 4th of July so every year we pick out one fire work that Grandma would have loved. This one's for her!

Needless to say, it was an awesome day!
Hope everyone had an awesome 4th of July!

Nothing beats some sister time! And if you've been reading my blog,

Michael and I celebrated our anniversary while in Texas. Happy 2 Years to us!

So they say everything is BIGGER in Texas right?

That's true for high school football stadiums...
(home of the Keller Indians)

and it's even true for Chipotle burritos!

look at that pure joy! :)
This place knows how to make a KILLER burrito!

Oh, I almost forgot! If you need a southern dinner, Babe's is your place! I can't believe I forgot to take a picture. But in my defense, I was in food heaven! At the original location, there are only 2 things on the "menu", Fried Chicken and Chicken Fried Steak! Seriously, CHECK IT OUT!

The more time I spend in Keller the more I love it! We can't wait to make it back there soon! Leaving family is no fun and coming back to reality is even worse!
