Today we talked about the slums of Brasil. I think this picture illustrates this really well.
There are some very, very wealthy people and some very poor people. And look at that line dividing them. What do you think about that? How does that make you feel? What if you were on the wrong side? Wealth and comfort just beyond your reach...
I think I don't have a very good perspective because I lived a very comfortable life with amenities that many others were not able to enjoy. It's so interesting to take a moment and look at the cultures of others to think of what they would say or do.
